Other Fun Stuff with SLTunes Shoutcast Shoutcast has approximately 16,000 radio stations listed, and almost all of them will play on your land. If you have set up iTunes correctly, iTunes will automatically play a radio station when you click on a 'Tune In!' button in Shoutcast. Note that if you have Winamp installed, it may select Winamp as your default player for this file type (or other file types). If this is happening for you, here are instructions on setting iTunes to be your default radio player.
If you turn of the 'Always ask before opening this type of file' checkbox, one click on 'Tune In!' will not only set your radio to play in iTunes, it will also play (through iTunes) automatically on your land! Click here if you have problems getting iTunes to play radio stations from Shoutcast.com. |
