How to Set SLTunes up for Group Land

You are probably at this webpage because SLTunes gives you a message like:

This happens when you use SLTunes on land owned by a group (even if you own the group). You must 'Deed' SLTunes to the group.

Step 1: Make sure you have your group set correctly before you place SLTunes from your inventory into the world.

To see what land you are on: go to the menu in SL World->About Land.

To see what group you have set active: go to the menu Edit->Groups.

The check that your active group is set to the same group as the land.

If you placed SLTunes into the world before setting your land's group active, take SLTunes back into your inventory, set your active group, then place it back onto your land.

Step 2: Right-click on SLTunes, select "Edit" from the radial menu, and turn on "Share with group"

Step 3: Deed SLTunes to your group.

Note you must be an officer of the group to do this. If you are renting land, contact the owner of the land to do this for you (make sure they 'Deed' the radio, but do not touch it after).

When the "Deed" button is clicked, SLTunes will reset itself. If you have followed all steps correctly, SLTunes will display that it is ready to be set up.
